ABOUT THIS SALVE
Because we do not add aromatic essential oils to our products, this salve has a gentle, herbaceous scent. Since it is a full-spectrum product, it does have a slight cannabis aroma. Your natural body heat will melt this oil-based product and allow small amounts to spread easily across the affected area. Don’t worry–the cayenne in this formula won’t burn your skin!
HOW WE MAKE OUR SALVES
Because we know the power of full spectrum plant extracts, we use herb infused oils rather than essential oils as the basis for the beneficial actions of our salves. Our topicals are made from raw plant matter precisely extracted with low heat into the finest organic oils. They are then blended with locally sourced beeswax to enhance texture and preserve the beneficial herbal properties.
ABOUT OUR EXPLORER’S FORMULAS
Our skilled in-house herbalists (and cannabis enthusiasts!) created explorer’s formulas for CBD newbies and curious plant-lovers alike. We designate them as “explorer’s” for two reasons; first, our inquisitive team chose several plants, herbs, and fungi they felt would be mutually enhanced by hemp, and created formulas based on that explorative research. Second, this collection is a less expensive, more approachable option for those curious about how CBD may benefit their unique bodies–thus, allowing our customers to “explore” building a relationship with CBD/hemp cannabis. As always, the hemp we use is locally grown and certified organic, and our other ingredients are otherwise ethically wildcrafted and organically grown.
