ABOUT OUR CBD OIL
For those who prefer a CBD supplement that is alcohol-free, we offer a two-ingredient, full spectrum CBD Oil. These 2oz bottles are for internal use only (read more about our process and sourcing standards below!).

Research for CBD is still in its infancy but is showing promise in treating Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, diabetes, and multiple sclerosis. Some folks currently use CBD for chronic pain, inflammation, insomnia, and anxiety.

HOW TO TAKE CBD OIL
Squeeze the recommended dosage amount (shown on bottle) directly into the mouth using the provided dropper and swallow immediately. For most effective usage, CBD oil is best taken atop the tongue, rather than underneath. Some customers prefer to dilute dosages with a small amount of water in a stout glass, while others mix them into smoothies, juice, or tea.

CBD 101
The FDA dictates that CBD is safe when taken as recommended for its intended use. CBD is currently legal to consume and ship across all 50 states. Because CBD and THC are derived from the same plant, occasionally, trace amounts of THC can appear in hemp. The federal government dictates that this is okay, as long as the CBD is hemp-derived and tests at .3% of THC or below. All of our products are tested to ensure that they comply with this federal law.

HOW WE SOURCE OUR CBD CANNABIS
The hemp plant is a “heavy feeder”; meaning it absorbs a lot of nutrients from the soil. Because of this, hemp farmers ought to be conscientious, but often aren’t. This is a problem for the soil and for your health since hemp uptakes heavy metals and toxic residues from industrial agriculture. We only work with small, local, organic farms because we care as much about our land management practices as we do about the quality of our products. Seedlings are grown in greenhouses in spring and then transplanted into the field to mature for several months. The hemp is then hand-harvested, hang-dried, and hand-trimmed before being processed into tinctures, salves, pre-rolls and more.

WHY WE BELIEVE IN FULL-SPECTRUM CBD
Did you know that at least 120 different cannabinoids have been identified? Although we know very little about most of these compounds, one thing we do know is that–as with all potent herbs–this matrix of plant compounds works together in wonderful ways. This is why we focus on whole-herb and full spectrum products instead of oils and isolates. Rather than isolating CBD, or deconstructing the hemp plant into various components (cannabinoids, terpenes, etc), we let nature’s brilliance lead the way. From pure flowers, to salves and tinctures in which we’ve used high-CBD hemp as an ingredient, we’re doing our best to preserve all of the properties of this miraculous plant.
